Here.....

The Basque Country’s Mondragón Corporation is the globe’s largest industrial co-operative, with workers paying for the right to share in its profits – and its losses. In return for giving more to their employer, they expect more back

Wearing toilet paper rolls was a status symbol-
Let's talk about communism is not socialism... Let's talk that communism only took hold on agricultural society not industrial societies. The societies were already poor...

The communist dragged the Soviet Union into the industrial age like Peter the Great dragged Russia into 18th century Europe...

Marxism socialism will not be like its 20th century brethren so using cold war images does not apply to today's world...

"Workers' Paradise"
"Farmers paradise" because communism only ever happens in agricultural societies...

Trashing 20th-century communism is pointless because many Western nations adopted socialist solutions for their economies and we in America have used socialist solutions to solve issues...

You guys on the right live in cold war communism as socialism and it is not. It was a convenient marketing ploy to differentiate East Vs West during the Cold War which both sides used... The capitalists in the West have to this day still imply socialism is communism...

Remember, communism only took hold in poor nations, where communists only replaced the authoritarian governments with their version of authoritarianism... The people in those nations were not free before or after communism took over... China, Russia, Korea, and Cuba have a history of strongman cultures... In other places, communism was overthrowing colonial area governments with little success because the West would intervene to kill it...

@Tom

for you a whole article about the Soviet Union and queues... They used to live in lines... and wait years for cars... It is a fun read because it is all true...

https://www.qminder.com/blog/queue-management/queues-in-ussr/

Queues are a thing that came to happen naturally in many countries around the world, but there’s been one country where queues were an important part of life. This country is not even on the map anymore — its name is the Soviet Union.

In the USSR, standing in line was not only a means of getting something. It was almost a sport, an activity in itself.

Queues were a good enough reason to socialize, share news, gossip, and pass the time.

Have you ever complained about how long you had to wait? Let’s roll back a few decades and see whether you don’t have it as bad as you think.
