Here a link direct to the Jim Crow Museum...

The Jim Crow Museum of Racist Imagery is the nation's largest publicly accessible collection of artifacts of intolerance. The Museum contextualizes the dreadful impact of Jim Crow laws and customs. The Museum uses objects of intolerance to teach tolerance and promote a more just society.

The museum is located on the campus of Ferris State University in Big Rapids, MI. Admission is free for all visitors.

That is remarkable - you can see what the feeling was, and how ingrained. Even now, such things are just barely below the surface. I think that might have been a better use of the Confederate statues that were torn down, especially the ones with Lost Cause/South-Will-Rise-Again poetry on them. Put them in a museum with other objects of matching sentiment. It would show clearly there was no mistake about the true meaning.

The musical 1776 - you could sing, "Here a Lee, there a Lee, everywhere a Lee, a Lee!" I think he is the Confederate with the most.
