The First European to see the New world...

According to these two sagas (collectively known as the Icelandic Sagas), the man credited with the European' discovery' of North America was one Bjarni Herjólfsson in 985 CE. While sailing from Iceland to Greenland with a fleet of 25 ships, he was blown off course and, after three days of travel westward, eventually sighted land. Upon his return to Iceland, he described his adventures to Leif Erikson, who, approximately 15 years later, returned to this new land.

Truck bomb hits bridge to Crimea, hurts Russian supply lines | AP News

The blast occurred even though all vehicles crossing the bridge undergo state-of-the-art checks for explosives, drawing a stream of critical comments from Russian war bloggers who urged Moscow to retaliate by striking Ukrainian civilian infrastructure.
The truck that exploded was owned by a resident of the Krasnodar region in southern Russia. Russia’s Investigative Committee said the man’s home was searched and experts were looking at the truck’s route.

Via CNN. Westbound is from Russia into

The damage to the road bridge appears to be severe, with the part of the bridge that carries westbound road traffic crippled in at least two places. The damage to the rail link where fuel tanks caught fire is unclear.

Here a video of the explosion... If you watch the explosion came from under the bridge... Its at the beginning of the video... A missile, drone, or special forces...

Another possibility: Russian ammo truck exploded. It is the simplest explanation. Such a truck would pass security rather easily. A large enough missile to do the damage would be detected, that bridge has lots of antiaircraft radar and weapons. A special forces effort would need to escape detection from security forces and just water born traffic for an extended time. Wait and see.

The period key can be used to step frame by frame of the CCTV security video, but the video itself is not good enough, crappy frames per second and resolution to be really useful.

In a press release Wednesday, the FSB said Ukraine’s military intelligence and its chief, Kyrylo Budanov, were behind the attack. It also said five Russian citizens, as well as three citizens of Ukraine and Armenia, who were involved in the operation had been detained.
According to the Russian intelligence service, the explosive device that was used to blow up the bridge was concealed in rolls of construction film, and was shipped from Ukraine's Black Sea port of Odesa to Bulgaria in early August before being moved through Georgia and Armenia and into Russia earlier this month. The explosive was detonated as it was being carried in a truck toward Crimea on Saturday, the FSB said. All the while, Ukrainian agents were in control of the operation, it added.

Is Musk pulling out...

After providing tens of thousands of Starlink terminals to help Ukraine’s war effort, SpaceX has told the Department of Defense that it may not be able to provide future funding for the service, CNN reports. In a letter dated September 8th, the company’s director of government sales reportedly wrote that SpaceX is “not in a position to further donate terminals to Ukraine, or fund the existing terminals for an indefinite period of time.”

I do not know if this is completely true...

Russian army leaders recently ordered their troops in the Ukrainian region of Donetsk to temporarily stop fighting amid low morale and desertion, according to Alexander Štupun, the Ukrainian spokesperson of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
