The FED can come to the aid of wealthy with 1.5 trillion dollars but we can not come to the aid of our nation's children withering under student load debt. We chose to save the wealthy but not our future... Bernie and Warren were right about cancelling 1.5 trillion dollars student loans debt and the FED just proved we could easily afford to do it...

The FED did not have to go to Congress or get the President to sign off. They did it all on their own mallistion... Everyone kept asking Bernie and Warren" how you going to pay for it" ... No one ask the FED... To justify it's bailout of Wall Street...

The Fed is basically buying up Treasury bonds for notes it printed.
Later it will sell those notes for a gain or because those notes were discounted, make a gain from the matured notes.

We justify bailing out the wealthy for their loses at the greatest casino in the world the Stock market..Because we can make a profit... They gambled and lost ....

Did you read the article on student debt? It would free them from bondage and free them to spend thier money more effectively within our society. You know marriage, houses, start businesses, and etc...

If you are going to discuss fed actions, it would be nice to understand central bank actions.
It is not a flipping bailout. The rich sell securities, at a loss generally, to the fed who is acting as the banker of last resort. The alternative is a repeat of the great depression or a slightly less one.

I do understand but we are doing this because the Stock market tanked not because of some recession threat... We cut interest rates already... Let's play the hand right now, the moves being made are about keeping Trump in office... I figure by August Congress will do a huge trillion-dollar stimulus package, even after the present bill they are working on now...

It is all good... its paper... it's a tax-free casino... and if you lose the Government comes in to clean it up... I will change my mind if every stock/ securities transaction is taxed at 2%... and
