Why are alt-righters (proud boys, boogaloos, white supremacists, extreme gun rights, social replacers etc. etc.) ALWAYS Confederate defenders/Confederate apologists as well?

What is the common motivation?

That is a new right wing term for me...
"Social replacers" are those in collective resistance to a perceived master plot underway to replace "traditional" western population (white/christian/protestant) with non-white "foreign" low country, middle-eastern and far-eastern immigrant population (jewish/muslim/buddist/nativist) in an upheaval of world order.

IMHO White
I suppose, though what advantage is there to the hue itself? After all in this context "White" really means orangy-pink -- or "flesh"-- a color that clashes with most fabric colors one might like to wear.*

* most agree that duskier hues compliment a much larger variety of fabric colors. And let's call to mind that nobody breeds pets for flesh-colored coats or drives a flesh-colored car! That's essentially why getting a tan (or orange if you can't get there naturally ;)) became a thing in the 20th century -- and why I have pre-cancers on my back today. just sayin'

i.e. The NDN Collective; "an Indigenous-led organization dedicated to building Indigenous power. Through organizing, activism, philanthropy, grantmaking, capacity-building and narrative change, we are creating sustainable solutions on Indigenous terms"

and btw "Hüter des Reinheitsgebotes" means "Guardian of the Purity Law," which imho none of us here should be comfortable with.

Nope. NDN is simply a short hand for Indian. Nothing more.

Far right wingers are basically obsessed with government tyranny and see the Confederates as freedom fighters.

Most are also racists. You don't have to be a radical right winger, but it helps and you have to at least be tolerant of racists. And if you are a white supremacist why wouldn't you be a radical right winger? Kind of ironic that Confederate apologists want to deny the importance of slavery and psuedo-slavery to the South and especially the Confederacy, while others embrace the Confederacy specifically because it was founded on race-based slavery.
