Voted this morning. Went up to the elementary school where my kid went years ago. It was crowded. The older lady who managed my ward checked me in: it turned out she had lived at my address decades, ago one of the enormous clan of Lebanese in town. Besides the president, we had our congresspeople and a senator to vote for, as well as some ballot questions. The major one, debated at school, was eliminating the MCAS exam, a state wide series of tests that a student has to pass before graduating from high school.

I'll head out to after a while after the morning rush is done. Exercise in futility, Alabama is Bright Red, but it is my civic duty.
