I got this gem at a used book store in Conn. What was the thinking in the US Navy on the brink of Pearl Harbor?
A lot was forward thinking: an article on the torpedo plane, and several essays on that aircraft superseding the battleship as the decisive arm. One howler does assure that the Philippines are impegnable. Great ads, heavy on engineering and machine shops.
