At least one of them is an expert on Road Rage on the NJ Turnpike. Actually there are old pictures of Christopher Walken in a clown outfit for PT Barnum and Company. Of all the people in the movie Deer Hunter, he looked the closest to the families of Jenny Lind Street. They do say Christopher Walken's family was in the food business. Something about Pies and Cakes. From the records of the families of Lewis and Clark, Carnegie and Mellon, Myers and Lind, Frick and Morgan, Ryan and McCloskey, and now Heinz and Walken.

Christopher Walken in a clown outfit for PT Barnum

While there are widely circulated photos of a young Christopher Walken dressed as a clown in the 1950s, he did this for local performances and neighborhood kids, not as an employee of P.T. Barnum's circus.
  • "Ronnie the Clown": Walken, whose birth name was Ronald, performed as a child clown, often with his brothers, for neighborhood entertainment in Astoria, Queens. Photos from 1955 show him applying his makeup at home.
  • P.T. Barnum: P.T. Barnum died in 1891. While the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus continued for well over a century, Christopher Walken's childhood clown activities were independent local acts, not part of the famous national circus organization.
  • Circus experience: Walken did, however, work as a trainee lion tamer with a traveling circus at age 16, but this was a different circus and role than a clown for the Barnum organization.
