One of the interesting things is that States that vote for an increased minimum wage benefit Hispanics and African Americans far more than whites, but they pass while affirmation actions to do the same thing fail. The way to pass reparations is based on all races, not one, but income-based. Results are about the same but more politically palatable.

I'll own it. In U.S. colloquial there is a long-standing prejudice, if flippant and undeserved, a common perception that Germans are precise and effective to a fault -- fortunately in engineering, unfortunately in politics, and famously with words.
