That's a very lovely picture of it - thanks for putting it up. Always have had a soft spot for this general.

What a riot that night was! Tension everywhere, people riding accidentally into enemy lines, random cannon fire. Jackson was very eager to see if he could roll the rest of the Union up like a wet blanket and had just found out he could. Probably should have let his own men know he might be out in front of them, though!
