Where my mom is from in Northeast North Carolina? There is a hunting lodge for hunting waterfowl... It was created so wealthy northerners could come down and hunt water birds, kind of like those hunting lodges for foxes in Georgia in the article... Except he also gave them the allure of living on an old Southern Plantation...
