I saw this Civil War era film today, 24 hours before the Oscars.
Its pretty great. The March sisters create chaos wherever they go, a loving, high spirited, high minded quartet, as the film jumps from their warm household the years their father is in the army, to their struggles as adults, navigating marriage, finances, writing, courtship.
Beautifully filmed, brilliantly acted, a real delight.
