It appears there was no gold mine owned by the Twiggs family in Twiggs County, Georgia. The county was named for General John Twiggs, a Revolutionary War militia leader, and his descendants were prominent in Georgia, but their wealth did not come from gold mining in that region.

Yes some of it is just stories like they were related to the Lone Ranger and his silver mine. The Franklin mine is what was said by old family stories. John Twiggs Myers would be General John Twiggs great grandson or maybe it's great great.

Kevin Bacon is married to Kara Sedgwick who is the great great granddaughter of General John Sedgwick of Fort Sedgwick in Dances with Wolves. He was killed at the same time as General Alexander Hays. From the records of Art Rooney's great grandson Laim Rooney Costner. So your correct. Lets face it, Art Rooney's friend Jim Thorp broke Ike Eisenhowers leg in a football game at the Carlisle Indian School near Gettysburg. We would not be in this mess of the Widow Myers just left George Washington in that creek on Christmas day 1753.

Well they say all Sedgwicks are related including Andy Warhol's "girlfriend" Edie Sedgwick. Now my question is what do you know about Doc Holliday and Writer Margaret Mitchell? By John Myers Myers account, he did serve in the Confederate army. I have lots of books by John Myers Myers about lots of subjects.

Even thought it on it's way to Nauvoo, I don't think so. Although we do have relatives at Fort Wayne.
