I never said they didn't but not at the rate of American criminals. As demographics change the the rate will go up.

No... First, defund the police is a terrible slogan... Second, no, defund the police is about spending money on the community so the police will not be needed... I can not prove it but I have noticed when the police are being held accountable they stop policing and crime figures go up... I remember Baltimore police were being held accountable and they stopped policing and crime went up... The concept of police needs to be recreated...
How exactly do we go about " recreating police". If society thinks using force on criminals is bad then it's not worth using force. Police officers are now being killed or seriously injured because they are afraid to use force.
