It doesn't look like much but it is fun as hell. If you like in depth grand strategy where you control the whole nation, its politics, its military, economics and so on this is the game for you. It is also campaign MP.

Ultimate General: Civil War was a good game that could have been great but the developers decided to move on to other projects.

I'm sticking to Age of Empires II Definitive Edition for my semi-historical gaming fix.

I played UG Gettysburg, it was alright. Now if they were to add a strategy map, then I would get Civil war.

UG Civil War was a definite improvement over UG Gettysburg, and not just because it added more battles.
