You naysayers not believing Lee could not pull off such a tactic.... I like the the changing force starting out about 20min. after Alexander's barrage began. The artillery is shooting at the union artillery positions which are up the sloop of Cemetery Hill and ridge... The change should have run into its own artillery fire... All the smoke would have hidden them from the union observers...

If Lee had pulled it off, then we would not be naysayers.

Hey, the Germans holding out on us... Krupp guns... @rittmeister & @Wehrkraftzersetzer

Krupp Guns...

By the 1880s, Krupp had developed an 88mm naval gun and adopted 75mm as the caliber for the army's field and mountain guns. In 1897, when the French 75mm quick-firing gun appeared, Krupp produced the similar 77mm, which was used in World War I.

The unexpected victory of Prussia over France (19 July 1870 – 10 May 1871) demonstrated the superiority of breech-loaded steel cannon over muzzle-loaded brass. Krupp artillery was a significant factor at the battles of Wissembourg and Gravelotte, and was used during the siege of Paris. Krupp's anti-balloon guns were the first anti-aircraft guns. Prussia fortified the major North German ports with batteries that could hit French ships from a distance of 4,000 yards, inhibiting invasion.

Hummm...
