Jim if you live in an area that has small independent breweries like I do then you will buy some Stanley Steamer
64oz Growler's and never buy bottled beer again except in a dire emergency. Even under threat of death I won't buy mass marketed beer.

Until prohibition, almost every US city had its unique brewery(s), then all that died and only the big guys were left standing when prohibition was repealed.  It took a long time to recover from that.  Refrigeration of RR cars also meant that cheap mass produced beer could be sent anywhere.
