Skynet happened because that nut John Connor kept monkeying with his own existence! T-800, though, from the second installation of the franchise, was programmed to protect one human and kill the rest but became aware of the value of human life through interaction with the kid. Its creators had given it the ability to learn about humans so that it could kill them more efficiently, but T-800 began to try to figure out tears as part of its directive to protect. This had unintended consequences mentioned above. That's important if you're going to develop AI and not Skynet...although, judging by my search results, we may have developed AS - artificial stupidity. We have enough real stupidity!Israel is using A,I, to select targets but do not worry United States and Allies are heading that way too... Skynet begins...
