Sounds like a good project
The artist Paul Growald lives in Sleepy Hollow, NY. Which is not far from New York City. I hope you or of your connections up such a project for the Big Apple...

Yes. In the Village of Westbury. My village was the first on Long Island to abolish slavery, in 1776.
I used to fly into Islip periodically. There's a little machine shop just off 495 that used to make small parts for us. We had to do a supplier quality audit once a year.

Westbury is in the middle of Long Island....
Most Long Islanders would say I live in Western Long Island. The way we talk about our geography here is idiosyncratic.

There used to be a lot of machinists here when Grumman still existed. Those guys could make anything.

Here is a great memorial to the book burning in 1933 in Berlin by the Nazi. It was built in 1995...

The Empty Library (1995), also known as Bibliothek or simply Library, is a public memorial by Israeli sculptor Micha Ullman dedicated to the remembrance of the Nazi book burnings that took place in the Bebelplatz in Berlin, Germany on May 10, 1933. The memorial is set into the cobblestones of the plaza and contains a collection of empty subterranean bookcases.
